Music is a source of entertainment everywhere in the world .It is an industry on its own making many acquire wealth and fame on the global village.

In Africa, it is widely believed that many musicians first started their careers as church choir members and quit later on to do secular music. However, this is not the story of for Angela KeteKu popularly known as Enam/Afro Mannequin from Ghana’s Volta Region.

According the Enam, her journey in the music industry started from the shrine when her love for music grew stronger during her childhood.

Speaking in an interview, Enam said the genre of her music is influenced by the music god (“Hadzivodushis”) of the Yeweh Shrine in the Volta Region.

The artist says she feels she is on the journey of greatness due to her unique abilities and doing music at ease.

In August 2022, Enam released her first single “Alomo” featuring Akwaboah in her six-track Extended Play “Wuieve”.

In this “Wuieve” Extended Play, she preaches the messages of her musical spirits and true feelings for beats. The Extended Play focuses on the damages and fixes that had been made so far in her life.

She said the title of the EP meant number twelve (12) in the local Ewe language because she believes her birthmark of twelve toes was a reminder that she was destined for something great in the music industry.

Enam is a daughter to a Ghanaian father and a Nigeria mother.

She received her secondary education at St. Monica’s Senior High School where she started her music by joining a drama group on campus. She later relocated to Ghana where she signed a contract with Azuy Media in 2018 with the single “Manna” featuring Lord Papa of “Awurama”.

Her songs have also featured the likes of Ghanaian famous rappers including Sarkodie. Her songs include; “Kotoo line” “Goro Goro” “Biibi Ba” “Strongman” “Keep your secrets” “Talk to your boyfriend” “69ine” “After six.
