The relationship between a mother and her daughter is priceless. The bond that they share from the time she is in her womb is something that can only be understood by someone who has given birth. The communication that aspires between the two is remarkable. The movements made by her fetus as a sign of communication is something that can only be understood by her. The tears that drop through her eyes as a result of the pain of conceiving, but the joy that embraces her heart as she hears the first cry of her newborn is nothing but a wonder.
The feeling of giving birth to life is a mystery. The excitement that overtakes a man at the mention of him becoming a father is nothing short of a gift. If it’s a girl, she’s her father’s first love.
Daughters and sons often take up so much of their resemblance from both parents. With the journey of growth that the little one embarks on from the first day, she/he learns how to walk. Babies utterng and the first word; ‘Mama’ or ‘Dada’ is nothing but heart-melting. From the first day of school till the day of graduation where he/she has fully grown into a young lady or gent, independent and capable of standing on their own two feet. And when that special day creeps in, it requires a mother’s strength to let go of her prized position, letting go of her daughter in the hands of a man she claims to love and she embarks on a new journey.
The cycle of life is ongoing, but how you choose to leave your mark on it all depends on your decisions, which eventually have an impact on the future.
