Tech giants across the world are gambling to be part of Metaverse and Idiat Shiole, a Nigerian- international Fashion Designer and Gamer, has advanced preparations for the event.

She forward to broaden her business and satisfy her fetish for fashion.

“For me the Metaverse means freedom. ”

“I say that because I’m Muslim. When I worked as a fashion illustrator for most fashion houses, their first impression of me was normally ‘won’t this lady just draw Islamic dresses for us or can she even draw?’ But in the Metaverse, nobody cares who you are, they only care what you can do. I just wanted to do what I love without being oppressed,” said Shiole.

Metaverse still not vividly established, is a digital platform of digital ownership and avatars. It is perceived as a digital world with rich graphics where people can execute work, shopping, gaming, socializing, reciprocate business and other things likely in real life but as avatars.
