Grandson of Iain Hesford, Hesford Jr. has endorsed his passion to play for Zambia.
His aspirations to play for Zambia are is exactly reverse of his grandfather. Iain Hesford left Zambia to play abroad while Hesford Jr aspires to play from Zambia from abroad.
He qualifies through his Grandfather Iain Hesford who was born in Ndola on the Copperbelt.
The late Hersford senior would go onto become a Professional Goalkeeper and played for Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland and Hull City.
Hesford senior even had some International caps for the England Under 21s.
It seems that the young Hesford loves the Birth country of his Grandfather and can’t wait to play for it.
Whether he is good enough is another question.
But you’ve got to love his passion of not giving up.
